Jo Fairbairn
Dance teacher Jo Fairbairn teaches the basics of salsa, merengue and cha cha every Saturday from 2pm to 4pm at Casa De Meze. Jo, who has been teaching for three years, was introduced to the world of Latin dancing through a friend five years ago. She became addicted to the pulsating rhythm and Latin American soul after attending her first class.
"Latin dancing makes me feel alive, and I love the music," Jo says. "It's a great way to meet people, make friends and keep fit."Jo's classes cater for absolute beginners of all ages and backgrounds, who are eased into the steps slowly, depending on their individual abilities."Don't worry if you have two left feet; fun is the key word," Jo says.
